Instructions for Authors

Plant Diversity of Central Asia welcomes original research articles, reviews and short communications on the flora, vegetation, systematics, ecology, conservation and phytogeography of Central Asia. All submissions are made online through the journal’s Open Journal Systems platform.

Manuscript structure

  • Title — concise and informative.
  • Authors and affiliations with ORCID iD where available.
  • Abstract (150–250 words) and 4–8 keywords.
  • Main text: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions.
  • Acknowledgements, funding and conflict-of-interest statements.
  • References in a consistent style (see template).

Formatting

  • A4 page, 12 pt serif font, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Figures at ≥300 dpi; tables editable (not images).
  • Latin names of taxa in italics; authorities on first mention.
  • SI units throughout.

Languages

Manuscripts are accepted in English, Uzbek or Russian. An English title, abstract and keywords are required for all articles.
