Call for Papers — now accepting submissions
Plant Diversity of Central Asia invites researchers to submit original manuscripts for forthcoming issues. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles and short communications devoted to the flora, vegetation, plant systematics and taxonomy, floristics, geobotany, ecology, phytogeography, ethnobotany, and the conservation of plant diversity of Central Asia and adjacent regions.
Central Asia — with its deserts, steppes, wetlands and unique mountain systems such as the Tian Shan and Pamir-Alay — is a region of exceptional botanical importance and endemism. Our aim is to provide an international platform where research on this rich and vulnerable flora can be published, read and cited worldwide.
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Accepted articles are published Open Access under a CC BY 4.0 licence, receive a permanent DOI, and are indexed for discoverability. There are no submission or publication fees. Manuscripts may be submitted in English, Uzbek or Russian, with an English title, abstract and keywords required for all articles.
To submit, please register or log in and use the “Make a Submission” button. Detailed guidelines and manuscript templates (Word and LaTeX) are available on the For Authors page. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
