Open Access Policy
Plant Diversity of Central Asia is a fully Open Access journal. Every article is freely available online immediately upon publication, with no subscription, registration or payment barriers for readers anywhere in the world.
Licensing and copyright
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Under this licence, authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Users are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and reuse the full texts, provided the original authors and source are properly cited.
Benefits of Open Access
- Greater visibility, readership and citation of published research;
- Immediate, barrier-free access for researchers, students, practitioners and the public;
- Compliance with the open-science requirements of many funders and institutions;
- Wider dissemination of knowledge about the plant diversity of Central Asia.
Self-archiving
Authors are permitted, and encouraged, to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional or subject repositories, on personal or departmental websites, and on scholarly networking platforms, without embargo.
Preservation
Every article is assigned a permanent DOI through Crossref and is preserved for long-term access, ensuring that the scholarly record remains permanently available and citable.
