Article Processing Charges (APC)

Plant Diversity of Central Asia is a Diamond (Platinum) Open Access journal. It is free for authors to publish and free for readers to access — there are no charges at any stage of the editorial and publication process.

What is covered at no cost to authors

• Submission and editorial handling;
• Double-blind peer review;
• Professional copyediting and language checking;
• Typesetting and production of the final PDF and full-text HTML;
• Registration of a permanent DOI with Crossref;
• Long-term hosting, preservation and indexing;
• Colour figures, tables and supplementary materials.

Funding model

The journal is financially supported by the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Because publication costs are covered by the institution, authors are never asked to pay, and there are no hidden charges.

No waivers needed

Since the journal does not levy any charges, waiver requests are not applicable. Researchers from all countries and institutions may publish on equal terms, supporting equity in scholarly communication.
