Aims & Scope

Plant Diversity of Central Asia (PDCA) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Institute of Botany, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews and short communications devoted to the study, documentation and conservation of the plant diversity of Central Asia and adjacent regions.

The scope of the journal includes:

• Taxonomy, systematics and nomenclature of vascular and non-vascular plants;
• Floristics, chorology and phytogeography;
• Vegetation science, ecology and plant communities;
• Plant morphology, anatomy and physiology;
• Mycology and lichenology;
• Biodiversity conservation, rare and endangered species;
• Plant biotechnology, genetic resources and ethnobotany.

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts. The journal is fully open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
